I’m not worthy to be called your own I’m not worthy to approach your throne I’m not worthy – Lord I have fallen I’m not worthy – but you have chosen
In 2 Corinthians 6:18 it says “and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” We are called sons and daughters, we are His. However, this isn’t because we deserve to be. Romans 14:10 says Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; we will stand before Him. Ephesians 1:4 says “even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love” this shows how we will stand before His throne. We will be blameless, again, not because of our work but because of Jesus’ work and in this sense, we aren’t worthy in ourselves. Read more about this at our blog:
